Software
RGA Labs has developed an architecture called Metropolis™, which automates energy forecasting and stores the results for future analysis. This allows for analyzing forecast accuracy against all parameters such as:
- Which day of the week is forecasted the best,
- How close were the forecasts on the hottest hours each month, and
- What are the trends of multiple forecasting methods.
Metropolis™ can be used to automate other forecasting programs because RGA Labs advocates using an ensemble method of forecasting as well as a stacking method of forecasting.
RGA Labs forte is building software which supports computational modeling and engineering analysis.
We are advocates of storing data in an enterprise database because it supports easier access for end users and ad hoc analysis.
RGA Labs maintains extensive experience in a wide domain of computational forecasting and weather methods. RGA Labs has developed the Metropolis™ process forecasting and data management architecture specifically for this purpose, and we are the exclusive supplier of this technology.
Metropolis™ is particulary well suited to energy and electric utility systems, as well as industrial processes where weather is a significant component.
We can construct systems that help provide insight into the demands on your business. Our forecast systems can model both weather and non-weather related effects. They are custom tailored to your application, and are fully automated.
